After a great turnout last year on marathon day last year it is pleasing to report that the 10K race will once again be part of the marathon this year.
There were some excellent times recorded as the 10K runners rubbed shoulders with the marathon boys and girls – all helping to create a brilliant atmosphere in Birkenhead Park.
The btr Wirral 10K (as it will be known this year) is expecting to attract even more numbers this year and it is confirmed that the course will remain unchanged with a start line in Birkenhead park and a finish line in New Brighton on Coastal Drive.
