20th September/30th October/22nd November

Arrowe Park/Hoylake/Royden Park

Winter 5K

Due to the global pandemic and lack of clarity regarding social distancing (as of 06.06.20) the entries for the Winter 5K series will remain closed until dates for each event can be confirmed.

Once there is clarity regarding groups gathering in public it will be possible to advise further as to as and when these races can take place .

In the meantime thank you for your patience and understanding.

Sunday 20th September, start time 10.00am

Venue, Arrowe Park

The Autumn Leaves 5K is the first of a series of 3 x 5K races hosted by BTR. The venue for the first event is Arrowe Park which provides an excellent backdrop for off road running.

At this time of year the encroaching autumn season provides a suitably atmosphere with leaves descending throughout the park.

If you like your runs off road then this is perfect venue to race (or just run!) in a relaxed environment... with a bit of challenge along the way.

Friday 6th November, start time 5.30pm

Venue, North Parade, Hoylake.

Something different for BTR... our first night run or at least a run in the dark so night lights are essential!

With Hoylake Sailing Club hosting their annual firework display on the beach this new 5K run will take place shortly before the fireworks start.

Timed to coincide with the display, runners will be encouraged to stay after the 5K and watch the fireworks and enjoy the bonfire.

Sunday 22nd November, start time 10.00am

Venue, Royden Park

With the days getting shorter and the temperature dropping as winter draws near, the Winter's Trail 5K concludes the new three race series for this year.

If you have not been to Royden Park before then it offers a great 5K route around the park with a bit of challenge along the way.

This course is a bit more demanding than Arrowe Park in the first race so be prepared for one final effort to get you round this very scenic park.

Race packs will be sent out approximately three weeks before the race date or as when received after that date, subject to entries still being taken.

IMPORTANT Terms and conditions of entry.
You enter the Winter 5K Series on the understanding that once the entry is accepted it is not possible to provide refunds, deferments or entry transfers outside your statutory rights period. This includes injury or any other medical condition arising once your entry is accepted.
